Apples stuffed with caramel cooked "in the fire"
Preparation: 5 min
Cooking: 20 min
Servings: 4
INGREDIENTS:
4 golden or pink lady apples
120g brown sugar
1 lemon juice
80g of liquid cream
Accessory:
A heat-resistant dish
PREPARATION:
1. Switch on your Kokko and set it to an enclosure temperature of 240°C.
2. Cut the tops off the apples and hollow them out in the middle. Sprinkle them with lemon so that they do not oxidize.
3. In a skillet, melt the brown sugar until it turns caramel, deglaze with the cream and bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes and pour the hot caramel into the apples.
4. Leave the apples for 10 minutes to warm up with the caramel.
5. Put the apples in a heat-resistant dish and place them on the Kokko grill.
6. Cook the apples for 20 minutes. They are cooked when they have withered well, let them rest for 10 minutes so that they can rest and lose their juice.
7. Enjoy warm with a quenelle of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with crumble.
