Fire-baked apples stuffed with caramel

Ingredients:

4 golden or pink lady apples
120g brown sugar
1 lemon juice
80g liquid cream

Preparation:

 

1. Light your Kokko and reach an internal temperature of 240°C.

2. Cut the tops off the apples and hollow out the centers, lemon them lightly so they don't oxidize.

3. In a pan, melt the brown sugar until it becomes caramel, deglaze with the cream and bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes and pour the hot caramel into the apples.

4. Leave the apples outside for 10 minutes so that they rise in temperature thanks to the caramel.

5. Put the apples in a heat-resistant dish and place it on the Kokko grill.

6. Cook the apples for 20 minutes, they are cooked when they are well wilted, let them rest for 10 minutes so that they rest and release their juice.

7. Serve lukewarm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with crumble.
