Recipe ingredients
1.5 kg of prepared and washed octopus
4 lemons
2 new onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves of minced garlic
20 cl of wine vinegar
10 cl of dry white wine
Olive oil
Oregano
Cayenne pepper
Rosemary
Thyme
Salt, Pepper
Recipe preparation
1. In a large saucepan, cover the octopus with olive oil, add the white wine, then the thyme, rosemary and cayenne pepper. Cover with water. Cook over high heat for 2 hours. When the octopus is cooked, you can easily stick a fork in it.
2. Meanwhile, mix olive oil with white wine, the juice of 2 lemons, onions and garlic in a salad bowl. Season to your liking with oregano, salt and pepper. Marinate the octopus in this preparation for a minimum of 1 hour in the refrigerator.
3. Take it out of its marinade and brown it on the plancha heated over high heat for 20 minutes.
4. Serve the grilled octopus with a little olive oil and lemon juice.
To preserve your grilled octopus, leave it in olive oil with added lemon juice.
