Vegetable salad with smoked sardines


Preparation time: 30 minutes + 1 hour - Cooking time: 25 minutes - Serves 4



Ingredients:


200 g sardines
600 g potatoes
200 g carrots
260 g zucchinis
200 g green beans
20 ml oil
200 g tomatoes
60 ml mayonnaise
½ squeezed lemon (juice)
Salt, pepper


Equipment:


Kamado Kokko Little, L or XL
Large round dish in Chamba black clay
Chamba black clay salad bowl
Smoke-generating tube for hot smoking
Wooden boards for hot smoking
Stainless steel tweezers


Preparation:



1. Prepare your sardines by removing the bones, placing them in a dish with salt and pepper, and refrigerating for 1 hour.

2. Meanwhile, cut the vegetables into sticks and the tomatoes into cubes.

3. Steam them all for 15 minutes, then leave to stand for a few minutes.

4. In a salad bowl, prepare the sauce with your lemon juice, oil and mayonnaise. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper.

5. Place the vegetables inside.

6. Take your sardines out of the fridge and place them in your Kokko and leave to smoke for 5 to 10 minutes.

7. Once out, air the sardines for a few minutes.

8. Then place the sardines in the salad bowl with the vegetables and chill before serving!
