Portobellos stuffed with herbs and goat cheese

Portobello mushrooms

Perfect as a vegetarian dish or as a chic side dish.

Ingredients :

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms

  • 150 g fresh goat's cheese (or mozzarella)

  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme

  • 1 tbsp chopped chives

  • Olive oil, salt, pepper

Preparation :

Clean the portobello mushrooms and remove the stems. Mix the goat cheese with the herbs, garlic, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Top the mushroom caps with the mushrooms, then grill them over low heat, with the lid closed, for about 10 minutes on the Kokko cast iron grill . Serve with a lemony arugula salad.

Kokko tip: place the lava stone under the cooking grate, on the star-shaped accessory support, to prevent the cheese from dripping into the embers!
